The trained facilitators on this list are committed to “give back” 8 hours of preparation time and 8 hours of facilitation time to communities and/or organizations (besides their own places of work) which are undergoing change or conflict, where using the principles of Gracious Space might have a positive impact. These facilitated conversations will encourage civil discussion of pressing issues in Montana communities across the state.
Interested organizations can call or email one of the listed facilitators to discuss this opportunity. You can also contact Ned Cooney, Coordinator for this effort, at 212-7242 or cooney.ned@gmail.com.
Gracious Space is an approach to community conversations that emphasizes welcoming the stranger and listening respectfully to alternative points of view. For much more information about this approach to community conversations, visit the Center for Ethical Leadership website.
