SUMMARY:Free Grant Writing Workshop – Poplar, MT
DESCRIPTION:\nHumanities Montana and The Foundation for Montana History invite community members from Poplar and the surrounding area to participate in a free grant writing workshop and community listening session on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the James E. Shanley Tribal Library.\nHumanities Montana and The Foundation for Montana History grants are a great way to support cultural programs. The grant writing workshop provides an overview of current grants and opportunities with both organizations and offers guidance and resources needed to develop strong grant proposals.\nIn addition to the workshop, community members are welcome to participate in a facilitated discussion with Humanities Montana about how humanities programming can best serve communities across Montana. We are interested in learning more about your experiences with the humanities and exploring ways in which the humanities can provide meaningful support for community building.\nRefreshments and lunch will be provided. Registration is required and space is limited.\nTo register, complete the online registration form or contact the James E. Shanley Tribal Library at (406) 768-6341 or lsmoker@fpcc.edu.\n
