DESCRIPTION:\nAn outdoor workshop for writers and non-writers based on close observation of the natural world and exploration of the historical, cultural, and geological background of the area.\nFind inspiration for your writing at the Four Dances Recreation Area near Billings, MT where writers wander and explore to find inspiration for their writing. At the end, the group gathers together to share what you’ve written in an informal workshop setting.\nPresenter Bio:\nDave Caserio is an award-winning poetry performance artist and the author of This Vanishing. He is a founding member of the writers’ collective Big Sky Writing, and producer of a series of poetry-in-performance events. He has led numerous writing workshops for adults and students through Arts Without Boundaries, Humanities Montana, Montana State Parks, Billings Clinic Cancer Center, and more. His recent publications include the Coachella Review, and the anthologies Unearthing Paradise and Poems Under the Big Sky: II.\n
