19th annual High Plains BookFest
The 19th annual High Plains BookFest will be a three-day event of free public readings and panel discussions in Billings, Montana, by contemporary authors from the American West and Canada.
During the BookFest, audiences throughout the region will have opportunities to experience a wide range of literary arts and activities from a diverse group of authors from seven states and three Canadian provinces. Audiences in eastern Montana will have the opportunity to hear, discuss, and learn about historical, cultural, and social issues common to people of the high plains- regardless of their geographical and political residency.
Panels, readings, and discussions at the BookFest help people discover and ponder fundamental questions of human experiences, particularly with a historical and cultural context.
