The Montana Poet Laureate position recognizes and honors a citizen poet of exceptional talent and accomplishment. The Poet Laureate also encourages appreciation of poetry and literary life in Montana. Current and past poets laureate have programs available to all Montanans through our Montana Conversations and Speakers in the Schools catalogs.
