At the Bozeman Public Library, The Kids Book Club invites readers ages 8-12 and their parents to participate in an informal conversation about this months book: Other Words for Home by Jasmine Warga. This topical novel for middle readers follows Jude and her mother to Cincinnati to escape the war coming closer to their seaside town in Syria. While Jude negotiates seventh grade, she is challenged every day to consider her new life after fleeing her homeland.

Kids Book Club is for readers ages 8 and up and meets in the Student Corner of the Children’s Room for snacks and informal discussion. Participants will also help to choose titles for the April and May meetings. Themed snacks are provided!
