Centering Indigenous Knowledge

The Centering Indigenous Knowledge Webinar Series, organized by the Montana Campus Network for Civic Engagement, is an enriching program highlighting the scholarship, academic work, and cultural contributions of Montana’s Indigenous people in higher education. We’ll be hosting a weekly webinar during the noon hour (Mountain time) on Thursdays in October.

The Fall 2024 series continues under the theme “Indigenous People and Place,” focusing on diverse history, literature, and philosophy. Join us for four insightful sessions led by esteemed presenters (faculty and students), exploring the profound connections between Indigenous communities and their environments. This fall we’ll have presenters from Salish Kootenai College, Montana State University Billings, the Buffalo Hide Academy and Chief Dull Knife College.

This event is ideal for faculty, staff, administrators, students, community members, and anyone interested in Indigenous knowledge and perspectives, particularly those engaged in or supporting higher education.
