Greek Insights for Today’s America: A Community Conversation

An informal conversation reviewing Classical Greek philosophical insights that can help Americans navigate contemporary life.

The symposium will apply these classic concepts to issues relevant to Montanans today, such as: role of citizens in directing government, censorship of entertainment, ethical standards, and a Stoic interpretation of the Montana culture of individualism and self-reliance.

This Symposium is supported through an Opportunity Grant from Humanities Montana.

The event is finished.
