Humanities in the Time of COVID-19: A Virtual Town Hall with Randi Tanglen, Ph.D.

Humanities Montana invites you to our first ever virtual town hall, hosted by our new executive director, Randi Tanglen.

Randi grew up in eastern Montana, in or around her birth town of Sidney. Tanglen, the oldest of four siblings, recalls the community raising her as much as her own family. Before becoming our director this June, Tanglen was in Texas, teaching at a liberal arts college in Sherman, in the “Texoma” region of northern Texas and southern Oklahoma. Randi has a B.A. in English Education from Rocky Mountain College, an M.A. in English from the University of Montana, and she earned her Ph.D. from the University of Arizona.

At the town hall Randi will introduce herself to HM supporters, provide updates on our work during the pandemic, and lead a lively discussion with our supporters throughout the state. Register here to get a more detailed report about Humanities Montana’s work with the CARES Act, the state’s vital humanities institutions, and our transition to virtual humanities from home.

You are invited to submit any questions you would like to see answered at the town hall to info@humanitiesmontana.org and register on zoom for the event: https://tinyurl.com/HMtownhall

The event is finished.
