Magic Carpet Made of Steel with Bill Rossiter
Songs and stories help us recapture the wonder that railroads once inspired, and Bill Rossiter uses tunes and yarns to explore what the railroad meant to the West and to Americans in general, in the distant and not-so-distant past. He will be presenting in conjunction with the current exhibit of fine art at the museum titled: “Hear the Whistle Blow! Art of the Railway,” featuring historic and contemporary images of railways.
This one-of-a-kind exhibit of railroad fine art paintings, drawings, and etchings was curated by local artists Jack Dykstra and Rob Akey and will feature original art showing the diverse aspects of railroad subject matter as seen over the decades thru the creative eye of the artists and will be on display through Friday, September 27 thru December 7, 2019.
