The 2nd Annual Montana Writers Rodeo, hosted by the Montana Playwrights Network (MPN), is a conference for writers: fiction/non-fiction, playwrights and screenwriters from across the state. The conference focuses on the education and development of writers, by professionals, in a relaxed, communal space. It features a keynote address by author, Russell Rowland, a meet-and-greet reception, author readings, workshops, and a panel discussion with presenters.

The Montana Writers Rodeo will take place at the Helena Avenue Theatre, 1319 Helena Avenue, in Helena, Montana. It opens with registration at 3:00 p.m. on April 19, 2024, with events beginning at 6:00 p.m. that evening. The conference resumes at 9:00 a.m. on April 20, 2024, and concludes at 9:30 p.m.
