Music and Mental Health Panel

This panel, co-hosted by the North Valley Music School and the Nate Chute Foundation, will be an exploration of personal experiences for inspiration and support from area voices and resources during Mental Health Awareness Month.

A curated panel will be guided by a certified QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) instructor and a nationally certified school suicide prevention specialist through the American Association of Suicidology. The panelists will share their stories and explain how music has helped impact their own mental health journeys. Through vulnerable, intimate conversation, the event strives to show how music and mental health are correlated and how music possesses a unique ability to unify people in difficult times.

The panel will take place at the Block Box Theater in Whitefish High School. Doors open at 6pm and the panel will last from 6:30-8pm. The event is free and open to the public, though seating is limited and pre-registration is required. To register, please contact Jessica Shaw at events@northvalleymusicschool.org.

The event is finished.
