One Book Belgrade

The Belgrade Community Library hosts their first annual kickoff for the yearly Adult Winter Reading Program. One Book Belgrade consists of weekly events and programs available through January 16th- February 20th.

The central theme of the event is inspired by the book, Beneath the Scarlet Sky by Mark Sullivan. The book’s plot, centered in World War II Italy, generates important discussions on ethics, family, love, and more. The series of programs will each include a significant portion of time dedicated to discussing these main themes. Pick up a copy of the book from the library for a 2-week checkout. All copies must be returned by February 13. These copies will be available as giveaway items on February 20 at the author event (more details below).

This event is sponsored in part by an Opportunity Grant from Humanities Montana.

For a full list of details and events visit the One Book Belgrade website.

Come and foster community connections in Belgrade as we bring people together to read.
