Untold Stories of Montana Minorities

Ellen highlights the hidden histories of minority groups in Montana and the contributions they made to our communities, revealing an important, but neglected aspect of Montana’s heritage. These stories open a dialogue about minorities in our region, both past and present, including African American, Chinese, Japanese, and Jewish pioneers who helped anchor Montana in a myriad of ways. Each group made lasting and significant legacies to the Big Sky, revealing a state history as diverse and as compelling as its topography.
