How to Book a Speakers in the Schools Program

Book Online or Contact Us Directly

Teachers can book individual conversations or work with Humanities Montana staff to create a series. Teachers can also work with speakers to tailor programs to fit class size, lesson focus, and standards. Our speakers have varying degrees of flexibility and will let you know what is possible.

Step 1

Schedule

Contact the person you would like to book directly to see if he or she is available. Do this well in advance of the proposed date. Contact information for each person is in the Speakers in the Schools catalog directory.

Step 2

Apply

Fill out the online application at least four weeks before the program date.

Step 3

Confirm

Check your email for Humanities Montana award letter, usually about a week after we receive your application.

Step 4

Record

Keep a record of the time spent planning, promoting, and hosting Speakers in the Schools. This information is required in the final report to determine the value of your cost share.
