The Montana Center for the Book, a program of Humanities Montana and Library of Congress affiliate, is delighted to announce the 2026 Great Reads from Great Places authors. “The Way Around: A Field Guide to Going Nowhere” by Nicholas Triolo (Milkweed Editions) is the adult selection and “Galloping Away” by Robin Kohl (Chicken Scratch Books), is the youth selection. Both titles will represent Montana at the National Book Festival in Washington, DC on August 22, 2026 and will be the 2026 One Book Montana statewide read titles. Congratulations Nick and Robin!
