Our Montana Voices

Facilitated Conversations

Traveling to communities of all sizes, the Our Montana Voices program expands access to humanities and civics education. The program aligns closely with MT250’s goals of increasing awareness of shared history, celebrating Montana and America’s heritage, and strengthening connections through storytelling and education. Drawing on their expertise in history, culture, civics, and Indigenous knowledge, these speakers work closely with HM staff and host sites to tailor content for audiences across the state. Their talks are organized into three core themes: Montana History and Culture, Indigenous Culture, and Civics.

This program ensures that communities across Montana engage with themes central to the 250th anniversary of the United States while connecting Montana’s history to the larger national story.
