2026 Great Reads from Great Places Winner Robin Kolb (youth) and Nicholas Triolo (adult)
Save the date for celebrations of the 2026 Great Reads from Great Places selections! Longtime partner the Missoula Public Library will be hosting events for Nicholas Triolo and Robin Kolb to celebrate this honor and to kick off One Book Montana, our statewide read. Mark your calendars and get ready to ask, “What if everyone in Montana read the same book?”
Robin Kolb, author or “Galloping Away”
Saturday, September 26 | Missoula Public Library | 11:30am – 1:00pm
Robin’s event will be interactive and fun for children and youth. She will read from “Galloping Away” and there will be Montana maps to color and a real saddle to try out! Galloping Away is a middle grade reader but also works great as a read aloud for younger children.
Nicholas Triolo, author of “The Way Around: Walking a Reimagined Path”
Thursday, October 8 | Missoula Public Library | 6:30 – 8:00pm
Nick’s event will also be celebrating the release of the paperback edition of “The Way Around.” He will be in conversation about his story as well as his enthusiastic love of libraries.
Both books will be for sale at the events and there will be time for author signing.
