One Book Montana statewide read launches for both adults and youth featuring the 2026 Great Reads from Great Places titles. There are several ways to engage in One Book Montana. Libraries will soon be able to reserve a book club kit of 10 books and a readers guide for the adult title, “The Way Around: Walking a Reimagined Path” by Nicholas Triolo, through the Museum Key system from the Great Falls Public Library. There will be 5 kits in circulation this fall and winter. Milkweed Editions is offering a 40% discount to groups who wish to purchase a book club set of 10 books or more. Reach out to your public library to organize a book club in your area.

Youth librarians, classroom teachers and homeschool groups are encouraged to form book clubs to read “Galloping Away” by Robin Kolb. Chicken Scratch Books is also offering a 40% discount for purchases of 10 books or more. Please reach out to Humanities Montana Program Development Director, Jenny Bevill jennifer.bevill@humanitiesmontana.org for discount codes or to order class sets of books.

Both Nicholas Triolo and Robin Kolb are available to visit your classroom or library for free through the Our Montana Voices / Speakers in the Schools speaker bureau.

Youth librarians, classroom teachers and homeschool groups are encouraged to form book clubs. “Galloping Away” by Robin Kolb is appropriate for 4th – 8th graders, and can also be enjoyed by younger children as a read-aloud.
