Grant Funding Available for Humanities Projects and Films
Humanities Montana is currently accepting applications from eligible organizations for Regular Grants in excess of $1,000, and Film + Video Grants of up to $10,000. The deadline for proposal submissions is August 20.
Regular grants (in excess of $1,000) support humanities-focused public programming that engages Montanans in meaningful discussion about the human condition, increases access to the humanities and cultivates understanding, and enriches civic discourse among varied experiences and perspectives.
Film + Video grants (up to $10,000) support multi-year media projects with broad distribution goals. Eligible organizations may apply for one of three stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. Humanities Montana only awards grants to organizations, not individuals. Applicants are required to consult with our grants manager at least three weeks prior to submitting a proposal.
