Humanities Montana is delighted to announce that Our Montana Voices speaker programs will continue to be available as we move into fall. Schools, museums and community organizations can continue to book programs focused on Montana history, Indigenous knowledge, civics, and a new category, literature. Thank you to the Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation for a generous grant to continue making these programs available to schools. Our Montana Voices speaker Lailani Upham, Amskapi Pikuni (Blackfeet Nation) presents Connecting to the Land Through an Indigenous Lens. Mary Jane Bradbury presents as Jeanette Rankin: America’s Conscience, and youth Great Reads from Great Places author Robin Kolb will present a creative writing workshop appropriate for 5-8th grade classrooms.
